After purchasing it, I unpacked it and had it running in less than 15 minutes. After performing a test run, I realized that the quality was amazing. The colors are bright and vivid and the words and characters are clear and defined.

The paper options are nice too. You can switch easily from standard size sheets of paper to legal size sheets to envelopes in no time. It holds about 250 sheets of standard paper, and because it is ideal for home use, you do not need to refill the paper tray very often, unless you are printing a lot. Another great feature is that paper jams rarely occur, if ever. This is a big plus in a printer.

This device also extremely convenient when I need to transfer information from my USB flash drive. I can simply put the memory drive into the printer and direct it to print the desired files. This printer is very easy to operate as well. It operates with a menu system on top that is very clear and easy to follow. It also has the ability to operate with wires or wireless, which is great if you have a laptop.

The Brother HL-3070 is probably not the fastest printer; however, everything else about this device is ideal for home use. You can print on almost any size paper and any weight of paper and expect great results. Actually, the print quality is good enough to use for printing brochures and things like that as well.
